(16 October 2025) – The World Trustmark and Trade Alliance (WTA) has announced the launch of its flagship initiative, the “Building Trust Globally, Connecting the Future” Credit Technology Selection Project, with China serving as the inaugural pilot location. The program is designed to identify and promote exemplary credit technology solutions with strong potential for global deployment, spanning blockchain infrastructure, privacy computing, AI-driven risk management, cross-border credit systems, supply chain fintech, and RegTech innovations.
The initiative invites participation from enterprises, research institutions, and innovation teams with proven scalability. Selected projects will be recognized as replicable models for technology export, trusted data services, international standards participation, and the development of global trust frameworks. Winners will also receive the prestigious “WTA Excellence Project” certification, underscoring their international credibility.

According to WTA, the project delivers strategic value by advancing global standards, expanding networks with China’s leading innovators, and creating a replicable framework for other regions. It also strengthens WTA’s authority by establishing a flagship presence in the world’s largest digital economy. Selection criteria include innovation, measurable impact, regulatory compliance with frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA, and clear strategies for global scalability.
Applications will be open from September to November 2025, with results announced in Q4. The awards ceremony will be co-hosted by WTA in China and integrated into the WTA Annual Summit, providing a global platform to showcase the selected projects. This initiative is expected to advance WTA’s long-term strategy, foster sustainable cooperation mechanisms, and offer members unique access to China’s rapidly evolving digital technologies.
