(8 December 2023) – This report is produced in reporting the cyber threat landscape of Malaysia in the first half of the year 2023. The works begin in early month of January 2023 where we collected threat feeds related to Malaysia up to at the end of June 2023. The sources for data aggregation in order to meet the objectives of our research are various from social medias, online news, Cyber Threat Intelligent Platforms (or CTIPs), and from Darkweb forums.

(21 November 2023) – The Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) and TrustTech leading provider Gogolook kicked off the first-ever Anti-Scam Asia Summit (ASAS) in Taipei, Taiwan on 20th of November, 2023. Under the theme of “Turning the Tide in Asia,” the summit brought together regional stakeholders from government, law enforcement, industry, and academia to discuss the latest trends in digital scams and formulate strategies to combat these evolving threats.

At the summit, Gogolook and GASA debuted the first-ever Asia Scam Report, a comprehensive analysis of scam trends across the region, aiming to serve as a cornerstone for future policy development and advocacy in anti-fraud measures on a regional scale. The Asia Scam Report contains data collected from nearly 20,000 respondents across 11 regions in Asia and reveals that scams have emerged as a new normal in the region, as more than 60% of Asians now face at least one scam each week.

(27 October 2023) – The department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Hoa Binh province to organize a training class to develop e-commerce human resources in Hoa Binh province.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh – Director of the Center for E-commerce Development shared about;
