The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has invited the World Trustmark and Trade Alliance (WTA) to serve as an Industry Partner for the 16th Business of Intellectual Property Asia Forum (BIP Asia), taking place on 19–20 November 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Jointly organized by the HKSAR Government and HKTDC, the Forum is a flagship event that connects IP owners, policymakers, investors, and professionals to exchange insights and explore business opportunities across Asia and beyond.
Following the success of the 2025 edition, which drew over 100 speakers and 3,300 participants from 38 countries and regions, BIP Asia 2026 will focus on the theme “Powering Commercial Success Through IP and Innovation.” The program will showcase how enterprises can strategically leverage intellectual property to enhance competitiveness, attract investment, and unlock new avenues for sustainable growth. Alongside the Innovation and IP Market, the Forum will serve as a one-stop platform for IP showcase, management, and enforcement discussions.

The Forum also forms part of Innovation & IP Week 2026, featuring a calendar of IP-related events organized by industry stakeholders during November–December. This initiative further strengthens Hong Kong’s position as a leading IP trading hub in the region.
