MOU Signing between UC TATI and CyberSecurity Malaysia

(6 June 2024) – The ceremony of signing memorandum of understanding between UC TATI and CyberSecurity Malaysia took place at CyberSAFE L.I.V.E Gallery.

This signed Memorandum of Understanding is intended to continue the existing cooperation in strengthening the cybersecurity sphere specifically from the capacity development aspect.

CyberSecurity Malaysia has been represented by YBhg. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin bin Abdul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer, CyberSecurity Malaysia while UC TATI is represented by YBhag. Prof. Dr. Anuar bin Ahmad, Rector, UC TATI.

At the same program, a bilateral discussion was also held between CyberSecurity Malaysia and UC TATI to discuss the sustainability of existing field of cooperation and those related to cybersecurity.

The review meeting for the ‘Information Disclosure Standards for Online Transaction Operators’ was successfully convened

(7 May 2024) – The Shenzhen local standard titled ‘Information Disclosure Specification for Online Transaction Operators’ convened successfully at the Industrial and Commercial Price Building in Futian District, Shenzhen. Guided by the Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau, this standard was meticulously drafted by a collaborative effort involving key stakeholders. Notable contributors included the Zhongxin Center, Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology, Shenzhen Fenqile Network Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Soule Network Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Yunwang Wandian Electronics Business Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Tencent Computer System Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, esteemed individuals played pivotal roles in shaping the standard. Yu Rongfang, the deputy director of the Consumer Protection Division at the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, provided valuable insights. Additionally, Zhang Xihui, director of the Public Trust Center, and Liu Zeyuan, deputy manager of the Public Business Department, actively participated in the drafting process. Their collective expertise ensures that the ‘Information Disclosure Specification’ aligns with best practices and promotes transparency in online transactions.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CyberSecurity Malaysia and KDDI Malaysia

(25 April 2024) – CyberSecurity Malaysia and KDDI Malaysia have formalized their commitment to collaborate on Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Initiatives through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed by Dato’ Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab, CEO of CyberSecurity Malaysia, and Miki Sawabe, Managing Director of KDDI Malaysia. Witnessing the signing were Atsushi Karimata, Deputy Chief Of Mission of Japan, and Lt Col Haji Mustaffa Bin Ahmad (Retired), Senior Vice President of Business Development And Industry Affairs.

The signing ceremony was also attended by delegates from CyberSecurity Malaysia, KDDI Malaysia, and the Embassy of Japan. This Memorandum of Understanding seeks to establish a strategic partnership that will enable CyberSecurity Malaysia and KDDI Malaysia to collaboratively advance digital transformation and ensure robust cybersecurity measures.
