TrustArc join the IAPP Global Privacy Summit 2024

(15 March 2024) – TrustArc will join the IAPP Global Privacy Summit 2024 in Washington, DC during April 2-4, 2024. IAPP Global Privacy Summit is the world’s largest forum for exploring privacy and data protection law, regulation, policy, management and operations. The event is for innovative solutions to challenges information privacy professionals face every day.

The Summit keynote speaker stage has hosted top policy makers, technologists, ethicists, authors and entrepreneurs. Recent speakers have included U.S. Federal Trade Commission Chairman Lina Kahn, author Malcolm Gladwell, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft President Brad Smith, author Margaret Atwood, and humorist/author Trevor Noah.

CyberSecurity Malaysia and Kings University College MoU Signing

(15 February 2024) – CyberSecurity Malaysia and Kings University College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim to fostering a foundation of collaboration and cooperation in capacity-building activities and capabilities within the realm of cybersecurity and research.

This Memorandum has been signed by YBhg. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia, and Professor Dr. Mohamad Salmi Bin Mohd Sohod, Vice-Chancellor of Kings University College.

This collaboration is expected to encompass the provision of competency training programs and professional certifications under the Global ACE Certification and any new initiatives aimed at benefiting all stakeholders.

(6 February 2024) – HKFEC is proud to be the supporting organization of DaLa’s 1st Data Forum in 2024 on the topic of “The Data Divide – Unlocking Business Value from Cross-boundary Data in the GBA Region”.

Ms. Lui Tong – Vice Chairman of HKFEC was invited to share the importance of Data for cross-border ecommerce during a panel discussion, hosted by Dr. Toa CHARM – Founding Chairman of DaLa – Data Literacy Association.
