(9 September 2026) – The Global Anti-Scam Summit Asia 2026, organized by the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA), will be held on November 10–11, 2026 at Pullman Bangkok King Power, Thailand. The summit will gather governments, law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, telecom operators, tech platforms, and civil society groups to strengthen regional cooperation against transnational scams.
Asia has become both the most targeted region for scam operations and a base for many organized fraud networks. The summit aims to address this dual challenge by fostering collaboration across industries and borders. A central theme is the creation of national anti-scam ecosystems, building on GASA’s research with the Asian Development Bank, and ensuring that countries can coordinate effectively to disrupt scam infrastructure.
The program will feature the release of the State of Scams in Asia 2026 report, providing fresh insights into scam trends and tactics. Survivor testimonies will highlight the human impact of scam compounds and trafficking, while breakout sessions will cover topics such as disrupting financial flows, AI-driven defenses, and telecom strategies to combat SMS and voice fraud.
Networking will be a key component, with delegates gaining access to the GASA app for structured connections, curated working groups, and interactive collaboration. This ensures participants leave with actionable strategies and partnerships rather than just discussions.
On the second day, the summit will host the Anti-Scam Awards, recognizing organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to consumer protection and scam disruption. Finalists will present their initiatives directly to the jury, underscoring the importance of innovation and measurable impact in the fight against fraud.
The Bangkok summit is part of GASA’s global series, following events in Lisbon (Europe, June 2026) and San Francisco (America, September 2026). Together, these gatherings form a coordinated worldwide response, reinforcing the need for cross-border intelligence sharing and enforcement. Hosting the Asia edition in Thailand highlights the country’s growing role as a regional hub for anti-scam leadership.
