On December 5, 2025, the Macau E-Commerce Association, Guangdong Provincial Live E-Commerce Association, and the Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce jointly hosted a landmark celebration to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Global Intelligent Machinery and Electronic Products Expo. The event, held in the core exhibition hall, also featured the 10th Framework Membership Ceremony alongside the launch of the Digital Economy and Intelligent Technology Development Forum. Distinguished speakers, including Deputy Director Liao Yongchao of Hong Kong’s Artificial Intelligence and Data company, underscored the transformative power of AI and data in driving innovation. The Funeng Daban District Digital Industry further enriched the program by sharing practical insights under the theme of “Innovation and Cohesion.”
In his keynote address, Li Zhijian, Chairman of the Macau E-Commerce Association, reflected on the Association’s 25-year journey and its pivotal role in advancing regional economic growth. He emphasized the importance of embracing future opportunities, expressing confidence that the Association will continue to strengthen collaboration across the Wan District, connecting businesses and communities to shape new possibilities. The celebration not only honored past achievements but also set a forward-looking vision for the digital economy and intelligent technology in the Greater Bay Area, reinforcing the region’s position as a hub of innovation and cooperation.
