Honorary Experts

Mr. Joseph Yuen was appointed as the Director of Asian Relations Council of International Data Center Authority in 2019; as the Rotating Chairman of World Trustmark Alliance (WTA) in April 2018, a world organization to promote cyber trust and cyber security under digital transformation with members over 40 countries; and the Chairman of Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC) since 2015.

Mr. Yuen has intensive experience in Digital Business from being the Founder and CEO of Ecommerce World Limited, and his role as Managing Director of China Post Trade Development Company Limited. Prior his work with China Post, Mr. Yuen was the founder and CEO of Digital Outdoor Television Limited in 2006. The company was the first in Hong Kong to bring HD television program and advertisement, installed over 400 restaurants, computer arcades, 7-11, Circle K and record stores.

Mr. Yuen also has a rich management and marketing experience from local and regional telecommunication industry. He was the General Manager, Marketing of New World Telecom who brings first VoIP deployment in 2002 and a the first FTTH deployment in Thrunet-Korea, as the Regional Senior Marketing Manager of Optical Ethernet Solution from Nortel Network Asia since 1994.

Mr. Yuen was graduated in Bachelor of Electronics Engineering (Communication) degree from the University of RMIT, Australia in 1996, and he is currently the Board Advisor for Guangdong Province Electronics Commerce Association (GDECA); Ecommerce Foundation in European; Russian Association of Internet Trade Companies (AITC) and the Expert committee of APEC Ecommerce Business Group.
